In 2001, the first Siemens Center for Knowledge Interchange was founded in Munich.
In the meantime, seven other Siemens CKI partnerships with renowned universities around the world followed. At least once a year a meeting of the CKI managers of the different universities takes place in order to exchange experiences and possibly to identify synergy effects and thus to further optimize the design of the partnership.
